The two principal thrusts of SAHGCA’s conservation policy highlight the human oriented elements of conservation, namely that:

conservation is the responsible, wise and sustainable use of renewable natural resources, and that;
SAHGCA's conservation focus should be on indigenous fauna and flora.

TRAINING / OPLEIDING

The SA Hunters and Game Conservation Association have been accreddited with several local and international institutions to ensure that the level of training is of the highest quality. From our Dedicated Hunter and Sport Shooter courses for legal compliancy to Junior Hunter training teaching children the importance of Conservation. We also assist with the expansion of hunter skills like Trophy Measuring, Reloading, and Fieldcraft.

SA Hunters can pride itself to having the largest netword of organised shooting events in South Africa. Even so we take safety at all Shooting events very seriously just as we take hunting and conservation very seriously. SAHGCA strongly believe that through proper hunter education the conservation of all indegenous fauna and flora is possible.
